Hello,

I have what could be a silly question regarding my car. I have a Ford Fiesta 1L EcoBoost Automatic and unfortunately the battery has died on me. I have the kit to charge the battery which is easy enough to do however in order to do this I have to remove the battery from my car.

Would removing the battery from the car for around 12 hours to charge have any negative effects to the car itself? Would my car's locking system be functional? 

These might be silly questions but if i dont ask i'll never know.
