Bluetooth music streaming

Featured Replies

Hi guys

I've recently bought a ford fiesta titanium 2009 and I've successfully paired my phone so i can make hands free calls but when I go to play music or videos it says it says it's playing through the ford audio but there isn't actually any volume. Anyone help me out?

What phone are you using here buddy? Have some issues with my iPhone all the time- don’t think apple and ford are friends 😂

Iphone SE mate?

Make sure your phone isnt on silent and try turning the volume up on the phone too

This was a symptom I had as well. Had to pull the fuse and re-initialise Sync to fix it.

The two symptoms I've had so far that require pulling of the fuse are :

  • Bluetooth disconnected as soon as it tries to play music or place a call.
  • Calls and music seem like they are connected/playing but no audio.

Always  good idea to ‘turn it off and on again’

what does pull the fuse mean? sorry i'm not great with cars...

You need to access the cabin fuses behind the glove box. Use the owners manual to reference which fuse corresponds with the Bluetooth/sync. You pull this fuse out, leave for a minute or two and then plug back in. Then on the radio switch to Bluetooth or Sync and it should say re-initialising.

Install this update just in case your system isn't up to the lastest software

Delete all the pairings and start again, when you want to play music from the phone, you press the AUX button twice to switch between Line IN and BT
