Camshaft Sensor

Featured Replies

Hello all. I had been having a problem with my fiesta. It was dropping revs down to about 500 whenever I put my clutch down. Got it all plugged it and turns out it was my camshaft sesor that is at fault, which I was happy about as they’re not expensive. I was just wondering, is the sensor the same as other models of fiesta? For example is the sensor in the 1.3 ecoboost the same as the sensor in my 1.0 ecoboost zetec S? Just wondering which one to order. Many thanks.

I hate to say it but a fault code reader, assuming this is where the code has come from does not tell you what is wrong. It’s give information on what is out of perameter or detecting an anomaly.
