Just picked up my 1st Ford, a 2014 focus 16.tdci zetec. It's the first car I've had where I'm prob going to be looking to be doing a bit of modding to it and doing my own maintence. Are there any beginner friendly guides that I could look at or any general advice experienced owner could give? Thanks in advance 😛

    Hi Matt, Welcome to the forum!

    Depending on what you want to do, your best bet is to search the forum a bit and read up on previous threads just to give you some basic info and then start you're own threads when you want to do something.  I went from knowing nothing to doing loads of stuff (maintenance wise, less modding 😄 )  thanks to this forum so stick around and you'll learn a lot.

    I have the same car as you, same year too!  Is yours the zetec navigator?

    Yeah been reading up alot already just trying to not get lost😅 No mine is just the base Zetec model, though my last car was a 04 plate corsa sxi so still an upgrade 😂

    Welcome Matthew, you probably know this already but I’m going to say it anyway 🙄 regular oil changes are the most important diy maintenance  work you can do👍
