Adaptive cruise control failure

Hi, whilst driving on a bumpy gravel road last week an error message appeared on the display "ACC Unavailable" and since then my adaptive(radar) cruise control has refused to work.

Scanned for any codes and got U0405 - Invalid Data Received from Cruise Control Module 

Anyone have any idea what has likely happened? Could the bumpy road have caused an ABS sensor to fail? although no ABS or ESP lights show up.
