Front parking sensor removal

Featured Replies

Hi, I am new here. I have looked around a lot, and cannot seem to find a way to remove the front parking sensors from the lower grille. My reason for this, is that I was driving on the motorway, when some debris (white pvc) got whipped up by a vehicle in front, and then proceeded to hit the front of the car. I later discovered that it punched a hole into the bottom grille, and left it in a bit of a mess. I have since purchased a new grille to replace it.

I had a go last night, at removing the lower grille, but to no avail. I got the bottom part off, but the top would not come off, because of the front sensors keeping it attached to the center of the bumper plastic.

The back of the sensors seem to fat to be able to fit through the hole from back to front. And they don't appear to come out from front to back. So, in order for me to replace my grille, can someone please instruct me on how to remove the sensors please?
