How to spot a powershift gearbox?

Featured Replies

Hi all

I'm due to look at a mk5 2015 mondeo this week,  a 2 litre 240ps petrol titanium one.

Neither I, or the seller,  know if it's a normal auto or a powershift duel clutch car.

How do I tell for sure? Does it have any badges or similar? It has the paddles and sports mode for the gearbox if that helps.

Thanks

Matt

I think it's the 6f35 normal auto box as fitted on the 1.5 ecoboost and 2.0 ecoboost.

The powershift fitted to the 2.0 tdci.

Pm me a a reg number and I can check for definite.

Edit, checked one of autotrader and definitely the 6f35 auto.
