Have I found Rear parking sensor connector?

Featured Replies

Hello

yesterday I fitted a Towbar to my mk5 mondeo titanium estate, and when I took the bumper off I found a connector to the left hand side. I followed the loom and it goes up into the boot and joins the main loom.
would I be right in think this is for rear parking sensors?

if so - could I attach a sensors loom to it and they would work with sync 2 (maybe with a program update) Or is that far too easy?

also, if there is one at the back, would there be one at the front and where would I find it?

many thanks

In terms of the rear parking sensor loom, I suspect you would also need to get the feature activated and this requires specialised software i.e. it can't be done through the car's menu.
