Hey Everyone,

So 15th June was new car day, outgoing was my 16 plate Kia Sorento KX3 it was a lovely car nothing wrong with it, did me well for 4 years, going camping, ikea, moving but I fancied a change.

I have never had fast cars always the 2 litre diesels but with going camping and a large dog needed something that was practical as well as fast. Sadly there is not much choice in this bracket now, looked at Hyundai but they all had strut braces behind the rear seats making flat load impossible, VAG cars not a great fan of them and for what you get high on the cost side of things.

Then looked at Ford and I was Iooking at the mondeo but no fast option sadly then looked at the focus and the internal size and realised its not that much smaller than my sorento I think I loose 100 litres of boot space with the seats down so started down that path.

So a deal was done and went to collect it. Photos do not do the colour justice, its hard to see the subtle metallic in the paintwork or the way the colour seems to shift in the light.
Its fast, very very fast well compared to mine not hard, but yes fast and fun, I could not tell the difference in feel of the ride between normal and sport so its been left in sport, managed to get a few pops out of the exhaust. The seats are really comfy these were one of my main concerns about the car but after I got settled yeah very comfy.

The steering took a bit of time to get use to the car felt a bit flighty coming out of corners etc but I think that is more down to going from a heavy car to a lighter car with fast steering
Overall the cabin is a nice place to be, of course having to bend down to get in the car will take some adjustment lol.
Sorry for the wall of text I am nearly done lol
