Hi just to introduce myself and what Ford I own I have a Ford Fiesta mk5 1.6 Tdci Zetec s 2008 I bought it about 3 months ago with low mileage and lol have spent a fortune already I have up rated  all the suspension shocks and springs lowered it by 30mm not to be a boy racer but it didn’t Handle very well renewed and updated all the brakes and front discs to vented drilled and grooved much better brakes and the exhaust I have also had it remapped which has made a real difference. It’s the third fiesta I have owned but I have had I little problem which I have now managed to solve 🤫 my alternator failed very odd as there was no warning signs I stripped it down and found oil had got inside it and destroyed the brush box and slip ring. There was a leak coming from above the engine mount o/s I found that it’s the turbo 🤔 there a hit of play in it letting oil pass through the air pipes and leaking onto the alternator has anyone got advice on where to buy a new turbo they start from £900 down to £100 on eBay I’m in a pickle which to go for unless any knows where I can buy the internals to recon this one can any one help would be much appreciated.
