Hi everyone,  I am new here and just saying hello, before I start with my list of wrongs on my new to me motor.

I have a 2006 2.0tdci 130ps Mondeo estate.

Whooshing of air and black smoking when I accelerate, presumably the turbo pipe.

Very rattly engine on tick over, told it was the aircon pump, thinking more serious myself. Thinking a pully thats separating/separated as I had similar on a landrover.

Lots of knocking, so several dozen bushes, one job I really don't wanna do, especially after watching a savage garage YouTube video.

When I start the old bus, very lumpy and blue smokes. After tearing the to me pointless engine cover off, I noticed two damp looking injectors,  so presumably the seals are gone, is this worth replacing the seals, done a few sets on landrovers over the years, but never on a ford.

Other than that its comfortable to drive and pretty quick to be honest. So thinking of investing some money and time into the motor.

Although I am currently looking at 2.2 titanium x sport mondeo estates........
