Expensive but maybe good? I was thinking about going to view it tomorrow as it's not too far. But is the Titanium X worth it? Especially the 1.6TDCI? I feel like they're just bumping the price right up because of the clutch / DMF change but perhaps it's a fair price? Advisories are worn bushes on the rear suspension but not exsessive play. 127,000 miles.

And then this one is like "woahhhh 67,000" miles only, one year older, new clutch too (no DMF change). It has no advisories on the MOT.

There's so many about. I definitely want one with good MPG! But like I have no idea out of the 2 which is the better investment? Trader with double the miles or wing it with a guy from Chesterfield who sells a few cars, evident by different ones all taken on his driveway..but save £1300 or so... yea aha.

What do you think?

What do you think?

Car 1:

  • Do NOT buy a card with the PUG designed 1.6 TDCi, it has major issues with polluting the oil with carbon and then starving the turbo as a result...result = turbo goes boom £££££
  • Rear trailing arm bushes are a £250 job if the garage has the right kit to replace them with removing the arm, if not it's nearer £400 and hope they don't have to cut any captive bushes to remove stuff

Car 2:

Can't see it anymore on FB but changing a clutch on a modern diesel without changing the DMF makes very little sense, with the labour involved in changing the clutch, if the DMF fails later down the life you'll have to pay the same load of labour again and hope the DMP didn't shatter when it failed and take the clutch plate out with it.
