Hi all,

Recently picked up a 2011 1.6 econetic Mondeo titanium x. On the long drive back from where I collected it the a/c stopped working, took it for a service and regas at a local garage who advised (when the regas failed and they'd done some diagnostics) that the compressor had gone. TrustFord have quoted £812 for parts and labour and I'm in the process of getting some other quotes. Does anyone know of a good garage locally who might do this cheaper or, better, be willing to come and do the work and I'll pay direct?

    Don't go to a garage! Find yourself an air con specialist, preferably an independant.
