I had an issue with my MK4 mondy when turning it off, it used to buzz for about 5 seconds after. I googled it and it turned out to be a turbo actuator or something, got a quote at a garage and it was going to be around £350 to replace it. I decide this was too much so decided to put up with it. Scroll forward a couple of weeks and i decided to get my engine carbon cleaned, £70, improved my MPG's by at least 10 and guess what, buzzing has now gone.

I know people have said this is a common fault so i thought i would try to save people £300 as im glad i didnt go down that route.

Nice one.  Although some folk reckon carbon cleaning/Terracleaning is snake oil, I also found that having my (rather grumbly at the time) 1.8 TDCi MK2 Focus done made a huge difference to performance and MPG.
