Excessive smoke from my Ford Focus 08 1.8 tdci 

arsey on start up with around a minute of stuttering 

pulls back on the motorway hesistant 

I replaced injector 3 ( shown on computer to be faulty ) 

Glow plug   is flagging on my computer also which I’ve not yet replaced would this be a cause the above ?

    Once you're up and running I'd be surprised if dead glow plugs would cause an issue, that said before I replaced my glow plugs starting took a few cranks and a lot of white smoke from unburnt diesel.  I was only 2 glow plugs down, if you've got more than 2 glow plugs down I'd expect the symptoms to be even worse that I experienced.
