Bubble237
Hi everyone, new to this forum so bare with me, I have a 2015 mondeo 1.5 tdci with 44k on clock, I purchased the car around 2 months ago and the car has been running perfect until a couple of days ago when I stop at a traffic light and the car started to make a rattling/knocking noise which is intermittent it’s more apparent when the has been ran for abit and is up to temperature. I haven’t had a chance to look under the bonnet to see if any parts have came loose etc!!!! Have any of you came across this before so you can point me in the right direction. cheers David
MasterTechTip
Hi, I've had this before with the engine covers causing a rattle, if you remove it and then close the bonnet and try does the noise go?

Cheers for the reply, I haven’t had chance to get under the bonnet yet but will definitely try that first.....

I’ve took the engine cover off before and it still has the rattling unfortunately, will have to have a good look in the engine bay at the weekend like david
