2011 Focus Boost Pressure Sensor

Featured Replies

Hi all, first post here and hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I have a 2011 Focus Sport 1.6tdci. She's still running beautifully after 117k, 40 of which are mine over the last 3 years. This is my 3rd focus and by far the best (mimus normal dpf problems!)

That being said, I currently have a problem with little to no acceleration over 2000rpm. Its been diagnosed by my local garage confirming its the boost pressure. Pipes, turbo etc have all been checked and there are no problems. They gave the sensor a bit of a clean and charged me nothing. It was all back to normal, even after a 60 mile run that evening, however a week later I have the same issue. They said if anything, it's most likely the sensor which I'm happy to replace myself, however I'm having trouble finding it and hoping somebody may point me in the right direction.

I have no problem taking it back but was able to replace my dpf sensor as that also went and have had no problems since. Hoping a £30 sensor and a 5 minute fiddle can save me booking it in and paying the labour.

Apologies if this is a dupe thread. Couldn't find what I was after in the search area.

Cheers

Matt
