Heater/blower not performing properly

Hi all,

I recently changed my battery. Since then, I've noticed that my heater isn't working at its optimum temperature.

 

For example, it's set to 'Max' roughly 30°C? But it only feels about 25-26°C. The blower/fan is working correctly on the 7 different speeds. Also, even with the air conditioning on, it still doesn't get as hot as it used to. 

 

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to repair this issue? Someone I know said that their Volvo had this issue and the heater parameters need adjusting via the main dealer, does this sound like a plausible fix?
