I just bought a 2013 1.0 ecoboost focus.  for the most part it's in good condition for it's age, but at some point someone decided a nice blue would be perfect for the overhead light.  wanting to switch it back i started researching what bulb to go in there and got stuck on the LED bit.  I watched the US version of.. this bulb in her and works well, and couldn't find that bulb, but I could find lots and lots of cheap ones from china.

 

now, knowing how safe some of the cheap china houshold bulbs (non existant) I'm hesitant to buy a pack of them to replace throught the car.  I don't wanna pay stupid money for whats just a bulb kit, but knowing how dodgy a lot of the elctrical stuff is from there I'm hesitant to put it in the car.

 

am just wondering if anyones had any experience or, knows reputable branded ones from england I can use.  I'd rather go led if I can in this day and age

It will be W5W wedge bulbs but they need to have a short head to fit in plenty on ebay. 

Be aware that only the lower spec models have light bulbs on the MK3/MK3.5 interior lights. The higher spec models have different interior lights with SMD LED as standard.

Earlier MK3 models with LED interior lights did have a very bright white/blue light. Later MK3 and MK3.5 models with LED interior lights did have a less bright white/yellow light.
