Mk5 LED Headlight adjustment?

Featured Replies

Hello Everyone,

After a brief sojourn to Mini Clubman territory, I'm back in a mondeo.

Its a lovely mk5 2.0 Ecoboost Titanium X. So much more comfortable and bigger than the Mini.

But, there is only 1 fly in the ointment. It has adaptive led headlights, which are great but not as good as the mini's, the problem is that when they are on dip they only illuminate about 15 feet in front of the car.

Is this normal? if not can they be adjusted to bring it up so I can actually see where I'm going at night? If so how and which screw? as I think there are 2 of them.

Hi Jonro,

Thanks for that, I did earlier in the week.😁

I don't remember seeing the question, I know there will be someone there that will be able to answer

I found it there thank you. Seems to be setting the lights to right hand traffic makes them dip ALOT but on left hand all ok.

So I'll set them to left hand and see what happens.

Ah yes, I remember that post now.

Definitely set it to LH traffic, that should make a change.
