To identify which PCM was originally installed the VIN number of the car is needed.

Based on the VIN number your car did originally have a PCM with part number F1FA-12A650-ASK and software version F1FA-14C204-ASK.

On a ecu the H/W number F1FA-12B684-CA will that be correct.

The Hardware Number indicates the technical design of the PCM. The same hardware can be used for different Ford models, different software versions and even different HP versions.

If you want to keep the car 100% original you should search for a PCM with the following numbers:

Part Number: F1FA-12A650-ASK (wit software version F1FA-14C204-ASK)
Hardware Number: F1FA-12B684-CA

There is no compatibility information available for this type of PCM. For Hardware Number F1FA-12B684-CA Ford lists the following replacement:

Finis: 1920995
Part Number: RMF1FA-12A650-CA (the RM prefix indicates that this is a ReManufactured part),
Price: €717,54 (€597,54 + €120,- deposit which is refunded if the original PCM is returned to Ford).

After the replacement PCM is installed it needs to be configured correctly, the PCM software needs to be programmed/updated and the PATS immobilizer system needs to be reprogrammed. Reprogramming the PATS immobilizer system of the Focus MK3 requires verified security access to the online Ford GFDRS diagnostic system. Apart from Ford dealerships there are very few people that have verified security access. This basically means that reprogramming the PCM is a dealer only job.

Be aware that quite some Ford dealers are not willing to program a used PCM that is supplied by the customer so it is a good idea to ask your local Ford dealer in advance.
