Rhino341
Hi. Am new to the club. I have just brought a 2010 Mondeo. I am wondering if there is a limit to the amount of mp3s that can be put onto the drive that the head unit can read? The reason for asking is i have over 1600 tracks on my pen drive but no folders. On a 2 hour drive while playing music on shuffle it didn't play any tracks over 900, although to be fair it did shuffle my music well below track 900. Any advise will be greatly appreciated. Clive. Frembrit
I have a MCA sat nav unit in a 2011 facelift so not sure if this is the same for your car... From the handbook....(Paraphrased) The system is USB 2.0 and supports FAT16 and FAT32. Audio files must be in .mp3 format. Do not exceed the following limits 1000 items per folder (files, folder and playlists) 5000 folders per USB device 8 subfolder levels I have my music in Folders and don't have any issues (3000 tracks) Hope that helps.
