Fault code

Featured Replies

Any out there know what fault code po299 could be i know what it means but can't seam to solve the problem, checked all pipes, changed actuator, changed internal breather , changed maf censor, sent ecu off but they couldn't test it but still goes into limp mode after 6 minutes of driving doesn't matter how I drive it 6 minutes limp mode engine malfunction on dash

Tried changing the air filter?

I would personally add something like

Forte Advanced Diesel Fuel Treatment or Turbo Cleaner as the first cheapest option since the fault is possibly related to EGR / Turbo or sensors .

See if it makes any improvements and may possible clear it .

Alternative try Carbon cleaning . i got done cost just £40  . this may cleanup the system and sensors to give a correct reading.

Am no expert but am sure you will see improvements
