Mk2 Mondeo Clock Wiring help needed

Featured Replies

Hi all, I’m new to this forum, so bare with me. My wife has a 2005 Focus but I took the Sony radio out and put in an Alpine head unit. The issue is this does away with the clock. The wife feels she would like a clock so I’ve got myself a Mk2 Mondeo clock (long slim clock) as this will fit nicely in the double to single DIN adapter I’ve fitted.

The problem is, I am trying to work out the 8 pins for the wiring, can anyone help?

This is what I’d like if possible:

Earth, Live, Lights live. If I can get all 8 that would be even better!

Thanks in advance

Glenn

Can't help with any info, but have you tried connecting up the ones that you do know?       Perhaps a look in a Haynes manual at the electrical circuits of the mk2 would help.

The problem is where to start doing it that way. The diagram might say the wire colours but won’t really specify the pins. I’m not wanting to fire 12v to the wrong pins encase it fries something.
