Remote window closeure

Featured Replies

Hi could anybody please tell me if the MK 2.5 focus zetec s has remote window closeure, it is a 2010 modle. and if so how do i use them.

Thank you.

i believe you hold down the lock button on your key for min 10 secs.

If you have all electric windows then it's 50/50 that you have them.
It all depends on build level and the correct relays being in place, if not set up for it then you can find relays that plug in to the obd port.
If you have manual rear windows then you definitely will not have global opening.

I have 2 doors and they are both electric, i have tried holding the lock and unlock buttons on the remote but nothing.

Any surgestions please.

Thanks

i think the way to set them if you do have them is to first put both windows down then press and hold unlock for a few seconds on the key fob indicators will flash.

Then to close put both windows up and press and hold the lock button again wait for the flash.

If that doesn't work then you may not have them or there is another way of setting them.

Almost correct LOL To use 'global opening' and get all your windows open, press and hold the 'unlock' button. To close all windows again, press and hold the 'lock' button...

Doesn't work on 3 door models.

2 door Focus does not have global open/close feature.

Only 4 door models with one touch open/close feature support this

That is not entirely true.

Later MK2.5 ST/RS 2-Door models did also have comfort windows with global open/close and one touch functionality.

Yes, actually, I believe 3 door Titaniums had one shot up/down now I think about it.

But Zetec and lower, no
