Coolant Temp and Comms issues

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a 2015 mondeo mkv 1.6 tdci

1. Coolant temp only reaching 84 degrees C....I'm thinking needs a new thermostat.

2. Trying to do a forced dpf regen with IDS,coolant temp 84 proceeds passes the warmup check, goes to start regen but bombs out for comms error....no dpf related errors on DTC

3. Error present on DTC ..no communication with Rear Gate Module...anyone know if this is a major issue or related to comms error when trying to regen??

Thanks

After a 10 minute run

Coolant temp 78

Exhaust gas temp 150

Exhaust diff pressure zero with engine off. Responds as expected when running.

I'm thinking in top of replacing the thermostat  the exhaust gas temp sensor could be faulted i would expect a much higher temperature reading?
