Quickclear screen with no quickclear!

Featured Replies

I have owned Ford's 'quickclear' screen before and have nothing but praise for it, an icy screen turned clear in seconds with no side effect apart from a minor view of the built in elements in certain light. However, I went out to my LX bog standard car this morning with an iced screen, and turned the blower up to max, the temperature up to max, and directed it all to the windscreen. In 3 minutes, I was driving off - not bad really for a 15 year old bag of bolts 😁

Yeah, but that 3 minutes will always feel much longer when you are in a rush to get going!

I agree it's not too bad but I used to chatter for a while until the heating kicked in around 2-3 miles in 😁
