Central display & radio not working (Fuse 32 & 33 ok)

Featured Replies

Hi there, I have a 65 plate 2.0L TDi Mondeo. Started up the other morning, radio & central display (GPS, Entertainment etc...) not working.

Checked fuses 32 & 33 in the passenger footwell box, both look good, but put the spares in anyway. When I reinsert fuse 33 (20A) I can hear something cycle, CD player??? Radio comes on, stays on for about 30 secs but then goes off. Can hear one of the relays in the engine bay box click prior to Radio switching off again. Any ideas where to look before I send off for a OBD fault code finder. Any suggestions most appreciated as Im not great with electrics.

Issue resolved by disconnecting negative on battery, reconnecting and removing/reinserting SD card 😃
