hi my first post....does anyone know where i can download the wiring diagrams as car has a 1.7 amp discharge overnight leading to poor starting next morning. Thanks.



No I don't, but as it's that bad, why not start pulling fuses whilst monitoring the current drain to try to identify the culprit circuit 🤔

Hi Nick, already started that, with every fuse and relay removed from engine comparment fusebox drain is still 1.7A dropping to 0.9A after 15 minutes or so when turned off bit not locked. Ford handbook infers that passenger and boot fuseboxes are fed from engine compartment fusebox obviously not...looks like every fuse and relay in car will have to be removed. I suspect keyless entry system / alarm or central locking. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Don't know if this is relevant  but I read recently something about a mysterious battery drain being caused by a faulty external temperature sensor. When they don't work they default to minus a lot, which triggers the heater to operate (something along those lines)
