Hi all,

 

I've done a bit of research on here and also on Youtube regarding the upgrade. I'm in Ireland so getting anything posted from the UK will be a pain! With that, I'm looking around in breakers yards for a Sync 3 unit. I found a Kuga with the unit still intact and working. He is wanting 200 euro for it (bargain!). My only problem is the USB hub and connectors at the minute. I know I have to upgrade from my old one in the arm rest, picture below. 

 

 

I'm going to order the GPS antenna from Ford directly, I have heard the chinese ones are not the best. 

 

In short I'm sorted for: 

Sync 3 APIM and screen

GPS Antenna

Tunnelrat & Forscan

 

Issue's im left with is sourcing the correct USB hub and connections underneath it. Any help greatly appreciated 🙂

Hi,

Just took the plunge myself, I bought blind but was speaking with the Breaker throughout the sale. 

Ive just ordered the adaptor from Aliexpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000194533453.html

I took mine from an screen & APIM from an ST line Focus &  luckily the breakers yard still had & the arm rest USB hub was still there along with the GPS antenna on the roof from another model 2017+

So may be a shout to ask if they had any left at the moment - I dont even think my breaker charged me from these as they were not goign to be used.  

The Antenna I got was Part Number: GM5T-19G461-DB

USB Hub: hU5t-14F014-AB
