Hi all

Long time reader but only just joined, don't know why I haven't joined before 'cos I've been driving Fords around for the last 30 years or so!
Anyhoo, a 2009 Ford Focus 1.8ltr petrol, Titanium is my vehicular transportation.  And there's also a 59 plated Focus, 1.6ltr petrol Titanium in the family which I kinda look after too.

Hi welcome 🙂

Good morning from windy Athens/Greece my friends!!!!

First of all i would like to apologize for my poor english because it's been a long time since i wrote again in a foreign site.

At December 2020 i bought an all new Ford Focus Ecoblue 1,5lt/120HP/30nm of torque. The edition of the car was BUSINES CONNECTED.

It's a great car and it's the first time i buy a Ford.

I have always been a TOYOTA owner but when i saw FOCUS MK4 for the first time i was impressed..

It"s a very beautiful, steady and a " fun to drive" a little bit faster, car.

Everything is good, everything is fine but there is a little problem about the engine sound at a cold start.

It clicks ( i don't know how to write that kind of noise in english ) a lot, something like metal part being hit with other metal part. When it gets a little bit warmer it starts eliminating that sound and when the engine gets the appropriate coolant temperature it stops.

I want to get my car to FORD engineers but due to covid restrictions it's difficult to visit the Service company.

Does any owner of the same car have the same problem?

I am very glad that i have register to your site and i am looking forward for starting a discussion with a lot of you my friends!!!

Have a covid-less beautiful day with health and happiness!!!

Greetings from Greece!!!!
