Erith massive

Featured Replies

Heyo, Dan here from Erith near Dartford (SOUTH SIDE IS DA BEST)

I'm skrrrrt'ing up with my roof entirely intact. However I'm rolling deep with an intercooler, remap, blow-off/dump valve, decat, unresonated exhaust system, cold air intake, lowering springs, bola rims, toyo proxes sports and a bad asz gloss black roof/mirror/spoiler paint job on my dark blue ST (with RS style bonnet vents).

Since I bought the car from a shady dealer, I've found that the gearbox's dogbone mount bolt was snapped, the exhaust was blowing in three places, the OS driveshaft is p1ss1ng out grease, it needs a new battery, the parcel shelf's right hand mount is snapped, the front pads are 90% worn, the locking wheel nut key hasn't been provided, and the engine warning light has come on with faults relating to coolant inlet valve, running too lean, and other far more minor stuff. [EDIT: this turned out today to need O2 sensor and coolant inlet valve replacements]

I thought I'd join up here as a premium member before I purchase my insurance policy with Adrian Flux (tentatively insured with MCE just now) so that I can take advantage of the discount, and also so that I can pick some knowledgeable member's brains on good mods going forward. I bought the car as seen so I don't know what any of the mods are including what stage anything is, except that the lowering springs are blue and the cold air intake is made by ITG.

You don't need to tell me that I'm a silly boy, my dad already has, but 1400+ [EDIT: make that 2k] quid later I'm heading towards a beautiful flawless car. Exhaust has been welded in to one piece, dogbone bolt replaced, locking wheel nuts removed, driveshaft done, and ebc yellow stuff pads going on monday all round along with an oil change to castrol edge pro.

Thanks for reading!

Dan
