Focus mk1 millennium edition

Featured Replies

Hi all, I'm currently debating on selling my millenium edition focus.

Just wondering if anyone had any idea of what they are going for, as I havent seen another being sold.

I absolutely love it and will happily keep it if it's only worth a few hundred quid. Its starting to show some rust spots. But its clean, drives like a dream and the interior is very well looked after.

Doesn't seem to be many left and I know of a millennium puma in the same condition which sold for 3.5k.

There's no way you'll get anywhere near 3.5k unfortunately. The only mk1 focus' that is worth any money are the RS models.

If the outside was clean then I'd guess you could ask a grand for it? But any sort of rust will just plummet the value.

If it's already in good nick, I'd consider keeping her well maintained and running sweet. In years to come, when your eejit neighbours have been forced into buying a battery car, and are stuck on the hard shoulder waiting for the repair man to show up with a can of electric to get them going, you can enjoy the smug feeling as the kids point out the window and say, 'Daddy, how come that car hasn't run out of battery?' LOL

Not a bad idea, the Millennium Edition even came painted ready for recovery duties!

Just as I thought, I'll be keeping her. Just gave it a wash and stood back looking at it, I made my decision to keep it.

Such a good drive on the back roads around me in Cumbria and I never lose it in big car parks 😂

Might not be worth anything now, but only 87 left. I am just going to get my car with an agreed value insurance of £3.5k as I have spent loads on derusting and respraying. In 10-15 years time, it will probably be worth nostalgia money.

Hi.

If you need any help with agreed value insurance then please feel free to drop me a line.

Regards,

Dan.

People threw away MK1 Escort 4 door 1.1 base models in the 80's. Look at what they fetch now.

MK1 Focus is bound to become a collectors item in about 10-15 yrs time, if you can hold on that long.

My prediction for the most sought after models are:

1.6 Zetec 3 door

2.0 Zetec ESP 3 door

Millenium

1.8 Zetec Collection ( I had one of these from new)

ST170

RS

If people don't pamper them, then they don't last.

I remember my Capri 2.0 S in the 90's, they were a lauging stock, you couldn't give them away.

£10-20k car now

Pumas will be silly money soon, too

And MK1 KAs
