I think the Bluetooth modules in the MK2/MK2.5 only supported voice over Bluetooth.

**Edit: Pre-facelift music over Bluetooth wasn't an option, post-facelift it WAS an option**

The short answer is no.

The longer answer is when your car was made back in 2009 streaming music from your phone to your car had yet to be thought of.

the answer is YES

but only with the right parts on the car....

high spec mk 2 had BT phone only

mk2.5 had the option of a better module that did both, and the last ones did everything, usb, ipod control, bt music streaming, bt phone, voice control

you can fit it for £140 if you have the right head unit -  https://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/34110-mk-25-58-retrofit-bluetooth-usb-questions/page/3/

I should have said pre-facelift it wasn't an option but WAS an option on the facelift if you had the nicer head unit.

I assumed we were talking about a Mk2, but it seems that yes you can on a Mk2.5 provided you have the right bits.

So the answer for a Mk2 would still be "no"

and for the Mk2.5 the answer is "maybe"
