Hi! My name is Thomas and i am located in Norway i have a few questions around ford focus. A friend of mine got a ford focus 2012 2.0 tdci 140hp titanium thats had 250.000 on the odometer and it have been used mostly for highway use as a salesman and he have followed the oil serves! and her are some of my questions.

Any special things i shull look out for? 

I have read about that the powershift gearboxes are bad? 

Shull i be scared of the 250.000 on the odmeter? 

And what is a ok price for it?

Hello,

The diesel version of the powershift transmission is much stronger than the manual version.

The Diesels had wet clutches and the manuals had dry clutches.

The 250,000KM proves that it is reliable!

Providing it is not abused and the oil is changed regularly it should be OK - never sit on a hill on the clutch, always fully press the brake to ensure clutches disengage.

Ensure software is kept up to date (PCM & TCM) and remove the paint from the main earthing point on the body as this seems to help (see youtube)
