i have a 2017 st 2 it doesn't have cruise like the st3 can i add it to my car any help welcome

Of course you can add it! Now, what is your budget that you have in mind (you know, the £ limit you would consider spending so that you don't have to press that pesky foot accelerator), and are you competent enough to strip the car down to install all the various additional modules you'll need to source, cruise control stalks, fault finding when it initially won't work, reprogramming the ECU, your use of ForScan as a diagnostic tool etc etc...

Guide on fitting cruise control to Mk 3 Focus here, don't know if it would be the same for ST, though:

Quick Google brings up various outfits who will fit an aftermarket set up - prices up to £550 or so.

I have an awfully funny feeling that after the OP has read that link, the notion will soon disappear LOL 🤣

Lol, yes - didn't seem to me to be exactly the "plug and play" solution that people look for nowadays. Brilliant of Wilco to come up with that guide, nonetheless. Shame it looks as if the posted pics have been lost, though.
