St turnier exhaust

Featured Replies

Does anyone know what is the original exhausts pipe diameter? Does the middle muffler (resonator) provide free flow?

And also if someone knows the diameter of original focus 1.0 pipe.

What engine?

St 2.0

Most of it is 2.5". It goes down to 2-1/4" as it goes over the rear sub frame, then back to 2.5" again.

Thank you, so about 60mm. Does anyone knows about mk3 1.0 focus lift the diameter?

Well yes you can't get much free flowing than a hollow pipe lol

Also you've posted your new topic in the guides section. Nobody can reply to it even if they wanted to haha

Could someone post it on the right topic?

Only two questions, if the middle resonator of st has free/open air flow and what is 1.0 original exhaudt pipe size.

An admin will most likely delete it. It's up to you really to put your posts in the correct place.

If you're wondering whether you can get more power by removing the resonator then the answer is yes, but not much. The cat is the real bottleneck.

Afaik it's around 1.8", which is a real daft size lol.

Thank you.

No just asking for an st owner. Does the st's resonator provide free flow?

Removed it from 1.0 and it lost power at low rpm. After that another resonator was put and it was fine at low rpm.

So it is about 45-50 mm.
