What are your thoughts of the attached image?

Only an idea at this stage, but I have photoshopped a Raptor style grill for my ST Line X.

Has anyone done this or aware of an available kit.

Thoughts and suggestions please. Personally, I'm in two minds as to whether I like it.

If you're going to do it then you need it to be higher up, the top of the letters need to be in line with the widest part of the grill. 

It looks good on the raptor and the Kuga, most likely also the Edge too but they are all big vehicles that can carry it off, not sure if the Focus can tbh.

I did this mock up a while back on a Mk5 Mondeo and the consensus was that it didn't look great. It's your car though so if you like it then go for it.

Na a clear mouth looks more mean TBH.

I've seen a colour coded one fitted to a transit which looks good. I do feel like once you start fitting this style to more Fords then it'll water down the look of the original Raptor. It's designed to look big, mean and almost look down upon other road users. You don't quite get that feeling in a mild hybrid focus lol.

It's like when the mk7 was released with the "Aston Martin" grill. Everytime I see an Aston Martin now I can't help but think "hmm the front of that car looks like a regular mk7 fiesta instead of a £150,000 supercar"

The word "ford" looks too big.

I’ve got the same desert island blue. I don’t know if it’s just mine , the colour of my bumper is slightly different from the bonnet! I’ve had the car since new.

I think Ford used to (and probably still do) have the bumpers and side skirts sprayed offsite and then have them delivered to the assembly site.

I’d heard that. I mentioned the contrast to the dealer when it was in for a service. Got fobbed off with the difference between paint on plastic compared to metal. Apparently there’s truth in that. I can’t think of a logical explanation for the difference. I’ve yet to find an opportunity to park it next to another , only got it another 12 months but paid through the nose for the blue paint.

They’ve annoyed me a few times now 😠 😆, think I’ll go to a different one even if it’s another ford I end up with. I had a technician tell me to buy pink coolant for it while we are both stood looking at the orange liquid in the tank! 😂  I think pink and orange is a bad mix too. So not really funny.
