Hi Im new on here and got 2010 mk2 2.0tdci with issues when I start it first time it slowly cuts out on idle but then when I start it again and rev it it runs fine then I have changed map sensor and boost controller solenoid which codes said to change and its the same the person I bought it off said they changed the wastegate don't know if that is true or not.

Plugged into my topdon scanner which is a good one and got the following codes

1.P0234-A1 Turbocharger/Supercharger Overboost Condition

2.P2263-E1 Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost System Performance

I search these in autocodes and that says

P0234

Boost pressure sensor harness is open or shorted

Boost pressure sensor circuit poor electrical connection

Faulty boost pressure sensor

Faulty Turbo/Super Charger

Engine over temperature

Ignition misfire exceeds the calibrated threshold

Faulty Knock sensor (KS)

and for P02263 it says

Faulty Injection Control Pressure (ICP) sensor

Injection Control Pressure (ICP) sensor harness is open or shorted

Injection Control Pressure (ICP) sensor circuit poor electrical connection

EGR system fault

Engine mechanical condition

Has anyone had this issue and knows the what it could be or the most likely cause can't see it being the turbo as it boosts fine Im going to clean the egr and throttle body tomorrow to see if that makes a difference but wanted your opinion on this first.

thanks
