Park assist module location

Featured Replies

Hi all i have a 2011 1.6 titanium x focus and all park assist and sensors stopped working, took it to local garage and came up with faulty rear sensor, ordered one and installed but now saying front sensors, the mechanic saying parking module needs replacing, cost about £100 he reckons, said id leave it anyone know where this module is located so i can get part no please? Or anyone had similar/same issue?

Parking aid module is located behind the r/h trim in the boot area. Rarely is it the module at fault. Normally its wiring corrosion or sensors

Diagnose it your self with a laptop, free software called forscan and an elm 327 adapter ( £18) to connect vehicle to laptop. Then you can check dtcs and probably get live data on each sensor to see where the issue is.

Hi thanks for info when it went in it showed rear sensor only so when he replaced it it was showing front ones so he took new one out and put in old one and showed that one again so he suggested that the parking module was at fault

but thanks for your reply its appreciated
