Hi just wondering if anyone could help with a problem I’ve got with my Ford Focus 1.6 tdci. 
Basically I’ve not had the car long and noticed when driving sometimes I’m putting my foot all the way down on the pedal for it to go. I’ve also noticed that the pedal seems quite short so you only have to press light on it and it’s basically on the floor. I’ve noticed the car is quite fumey from the exhaust too when the cars ticking over.  If this is related I’m not sure. The car has got a dpf on. No warning lights are on the dash and the car has recently been serviced. If anyone has any advice out there it’s much appreciated. Cheers Ben
