Whats the operating PSI for the actuator.

Featured Replies

Hey all, Before I stick this ***** turbo back on the car not that it seems to be free moving unlike yesterday.
Does anyone know what the PSI is for the wastegate actuator operates at? (Before I go googling)
mk3 2014 1L engine.
I'm getting a vacuum tester tomorrow. That way once its on the car its on the car.
TIA

Ford does not specify any adjustments/specifications for the wastegate actuator for the 1.0 ECOboost. On these turbochargers the wastegate actuator is considered to be an integral part of the turbocharger assembly that is not serviceable or available as a sparepart.

To obtain the correct wastegate actuator adjustment you either have too experiment until the correct adjustment is obtained or precisely measure the amount of vacuum that is required to open the wastegate at an identical turbocharger.
