Mk1 Focus Cat Sensor

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

Recently changed the cat and mid-box on my 2004 Mk1 Focus 1.6 LX. The connections to the sensor that's screwed into to exhaust just after the catalyst broke due to the ridiculous amount of force I had to apply to undo it.

Now I have EML illuminated.

What is this sensor? Perhaps a part number if anyone can help with that? Also, where does it connect to? Is it relatively easy to access?

Thanks in advance!

It's the post cat lambda sensor. Should be FINIS number: 1035595. Just double check it looks the same as the one you have (especially the wiring plug).

It'll probably give you a P0420 fault code without the sensor plugged in (or running out of parameters).
