exhaust particulate matter sensor

had the malfunction indicator lamp come on today, checked the app to see what the fault is and this is what its showing. 

 

has anyone had this before? is it an easy and cheap fix or should i be looking at an expensive bill?

That's a very generic fault diagnosis. You need an actual fault code by plugging in with an odb2 scanner (preferably Forscan).

ok, thanks, i’ll phone the garage tomorrow and see about getting it booked in to get it scanned

if it’s an engine problem would it be covered under warranty or is it most likely to be something not covered under general wear and tear?
