Rear suspension arm

Featured Replies

Good afternoon all

I'm in need of some help please. My focus 57 plate 1.6 diesel has failed the mot on suspension arm pin or Bush excessively worn off side rear (5.4.3 (a)(i). Could someone please tell me what part this is. There seems to be 4 different names for the part. If I order the wrong part the wife will quite happily remove my crown jewells.

Thanks

Paul

It'll most likely be the rubber bush on the lower arm that's worn, very common issue on these.  It's not really a DIY job to replace now though, the bolts get so rusty they need to be heated up or even cut off.  If you snap one the car will not be safe to drive so it becomes a major hassle to sort out.
