mk3 temperature gauge

Featured Replies

I have owned my Focus for around 6 months now and every time i start the car the temp gauge needle shoots up to half way the same time as the fuel and everything else but now i have recently noticed it stays at the bottom mark for quite a while, if i switch the car off and straight back on the needle goes straight up to half way, is this normal? why is it only just doing this though?

If it does that with the engine cold then you have a problem.

I'll keep an eye on it but the car is fine like isn't driving any differently but i do find it odd but maybe i just haven't noticed it before as this is the first time getting close to winter in this car.
