Titanium x xenon headlight not working

Featured Replies

One of my Titanium x xenon headlights has stopped working . The lamp has gained a large crack in it and a lot of water entered the lamp. We have dried it out and replaced the d3s bulb but still nothing. The cornering light still works along with the dlrs. The other side is working fine. Also no faults showing on dashboard.

is this likely to mean a new headlamp?

Sadly yes 😟

Once water can get inside the fitting the lamp will always fail and each replacment will only last a very short time before failing again. Also if the headlight lense is cracked it will fail an MOT.

Fortunately you have a mirrored setup (the other side) that you can borrow parts from for testing.

I'm guessing your problem is either a failed ballast or corroded wiring/connectors. I'd try swapping the ballasts and seeing if that fixes it.
