Ford Focus MK2.5 Sideskirts

Featured Replies

Just wanted some general advice on fitting side skirts to a Ford Focus MK2.5.

I have fitted the ST bumpers and that all went OK (Apart from breaking the bonnet lock)

I have taken off the black trim that is on cars without the side skirts and started to test fit them. I have noticed there is only 2 screw points for the long piece of the skirt and only 1 on the end piece. Is this normal? just seems a little odd as the black trim I took off had about 6 screws in total.

I did try looking for a guide on here to do it but I can't seem to find one.

Any help / advice would be greatly appreciated 🙂

I am sure the 3 door ones have less holes.

Yeah I have a 5dr car and the side skirts are definitely off a 5 door

there should be plastic pins along the side of the skirt too,

where you drill the chassis and they pop inside; are the skirts brand new? i suspect not.

i bought mine brand new in primer from ford, if they don't have clips then you can used Tiger Seal

No they are not brand new and I know you are meant to drill the chassis but I just thought it a little odd that there are only 2 screw points on the main section and 1 on the end section. I have all the pins but don't really want to drill the chassis and I think I will mess them up. Luckily I know a body shop that does cheap work for me so I am getting them to fit them for me next week.
