unofix
Hello Peter, we are having a few problems on the forum this week as mystic meg is away on holiday and has taken the crystal ball with her 🤣 There are hundreds if not thousands of faults that could cause those problems. You need to read the DTC's before you can start to work out whats wrong. Get a laptop and download FORScan: https://forscan.org/download.html Buy an ELM327 lead from TunnelRat: https://tunnelrat-electronics.fwscart.com/USB_Modified_with_switch_ELM327/p4541936_17045457.aspx Plug it to the OBDII port and find out what DTC problems you have. Once you know the codes we can help you with the problem

isetta
I don’t know the answer but on the two fords I have had, abs fault has not caused limp mode. What code reader are you using? Is it a tunnel rat with forscan software?
isetta
Actually I had a focus that had esp problem, it wasn’t limp mode as such but it kept faltering like it thought I was losing control. I think on that focus the esp swerve sensor was under the drivers seat. Can you turn esp off on the dashboard menu? If so does it help? I know that’s not a permanent fix but it might help narrow it down

There's dozens of ABS related fault codes... Some are Ford specific, so a cheap reader may not pick them up. You'll need Forscan for this.
