Mondeo mk4.5 2.0 randomly cuts out while driving

Hi there. Apologies if ive posted this in the wrong place. Currently have two mondeo estates 10 and 14 plate. 

 

The 14 plate will randomly lurch and cut out while driving. It will always restart and will not rev for ages will eventually rev up and be ok again. No warning lights and no faults codes stored.
